It’s the International Day of the Woman and after SCROTUS tweeted about it Twitterville came alive with people who feel his ‘kind words’ are less than honest. Being the Internet, cats become involved in the discussion. 😈

It’s amazing how SCROTUS has increased participation in the political process. Mennonites normally avoid all things political as they are firm believers in a separation between church and state. Now they are protesting Trump for his Muslim ban among other things. Groups that came to the US to escape religious persecution tend not to be happy when US politicians begin to head down that road.

People who have studied Muslim Ban 2.o generally look at the changes as cosmetic [different fonts, spacing, that sort of thing] because the intent of the Executive Order remains the same – to keep Muslims out of the US. The state of Hawaii, a major tourist destination, has already headed to court.

Noooo… Surely not! The great Trumper being dishonest??! *SHOCK*

🙄 😛

Of course, if he was Tweeting or talking… that is a given. *shrug*

Still, good to see so many are feeling empowered & are mobilizing! Took long enough. (I remember a thread back in… April 2011 here where we discussed that). 🙂

He may not be ‘dishonest’ in the normal sense and might be able to pass a polygraph because he may actually believe the manure he’s spreading. He might be a good deal less intelligent than we assume and actually believe that all of the conspiracy theories he reads are true.

Consider that he has been surrounded by courtiers who flattered and agreed with him almost his entire life. He has never had to live in the real world. He knows nothing about the way the US government works, or even how corporations work. He has spent his ‘working life’ at the top of a family-owned business.

He has managed to piss off some of the most passive people on the planet – the Pennsylvania Dutch, Mennonites, who still live in the 19th century. I don’t see how you can get much more conservative than people who view electricity as a passing fad,

Seen his latest childish tantrum over *Trumpcare*? (sic)!

Trump Promises Tea Party Groups He Will Punish America: If TrumpCare Fails, He Will Let ACA Fail

Latest *Staff* tweets:
Rogue POTUS Staff‏ @RoguePOTUSStaff:
Spicer: “I wish he’d have an affair. That’d be better than defending the stupid s*** he says in Twitter.”

POTUS stressed about Comey’s meeting w/ G.O.8. Demanding he confer w/ Admin first, in future. Priebus: “We can’t do that, Mr. President.”

Panic strikes West Wing as Spicer heard saying “I don’t know,” when asked if POTUS would still have picked Flynn knowing he’s foreign agent.

Many viewing Assange like Joker right now. POTUS let dog off the leash, now look at the carnage. Nobody willing to say it to him, though.

The attempts to exploit us are getting out of hand. Everything from threats to wild claims, to some people trying to sign deals in our name.

Today’s press briefing. At 1st, everyone in WW panicked. But media didn’t attack so POTUS is celebrating fact he now owns them.

Brainwashed. POTUS has the whole damn country brainwashed. Even his detractors. RIP America. July 4, 1776 – March 9, 2017.

Rogue WH Snr Advisor‏ @RogueSNRadvisor:
Pres knows he has near unlimited political capital w/ supporters – 1 reason why he can make wild claims w/ no ill effect. Expect many more.

Around WH, quickest way to get canned is to even MENTION climate change. Close 2nd – positive opinion of Obama.

As HC bill spirals out of control, Pres & team scrambling, planning to pin failure on Obama. “…he poisoned the well.”

Pres wants desperately to use #Vault7 info for political purposes but advisors say no. Doing so broadens schism w/ IC. Better to let fester.

Missed amidst CIA/Russia fervor is the *actual* title for healthcare act: “World’s Greatest Healthcare Plan”. You can’t make this shit up.

This AM Bannon challenged Pres to a donut eating contest – Bannon went home sick, Pres kept going. Final score: 33 – 9.

Pres “joking” this AM that he should “…take everyone to Hooters” to celebrate!

Because of the Congresscritters that the Tea Party elected there aren’t enough Republican votes for ‘Trumpcare’. Ryan has been hoping for some help from the Dems, but he has been too big an asshole too often to get help with anything but suicide [in a jurisdiction where it is legal, of course].

The Republicans crapped in the ‘well’ every chance they had, and the world knows it.

The Vault7 stuff is widely available and a lot of it is used by scriptkiddies. The real news is that they have such shitty security they got hacked. The “Company’s” lousy security is a bigger story than an espionage agency having computer “burglary tools”.

5 Badtux { 03.10.17 at 1:39 am }

The Vault7 stuff has been floating around out there for a while now. A group called “The Shadow Brokers” was trying to sell the whole bundle to the highest bidder for several months and apparently only got one bidder in mid-January, the Russians. The only question is which CIA contractor leaked the bundle. The Equation Group was NSA, so that wasn’t it…

6 Kryten42 { 03.10.17 at 4:26 am }

Yeah, I saw the V7 on Tor some Months ago. I thought of offering $1… 😆

Well, seems a divorce is looming! Seems POTTY had yet another dummy spit! At this rate, he’ll have a stroke. 😀

Sean Spicer, barred from Air Force One, avoids the cameras

LMAO

7 Kryten42 { 03.10.17 at 6:20 am }

PS. A little trivia… “The Shadow Brokers” is from the Mass Effect 2 game. 😉 😀

Apparently, POTTY is cutting $43M from Coast Guard drug interdiction! I guess that’s the payment due to the Russian Mafia for bailing him out after family & banks said no. *shrug*

And you already know this Bryan:
The U.S. is about to lose a trillion dollars in coastal property values

And:
Elon Musk: I can fix South Australia power network in 100 days or it’s free

Wow!!

8 Bryan { 03.10.17 at 1:00 pm }

Gee, isn’t it great to have contractors doing vital government functions because they are so much more efficient that the civil service at accomplishing those functions. /snark/

SCROTUS is hiring thousands of extra Border Patrol officers while cutting funds to TSA and the Coast Guard, This is going to protect the country how? The worst terrorist attack on the US was via US airports and he is going to reduce the budget of TSA which will increase the time spent in security lines and piss off more travelers than ever.

It’s not just him. The fools writing the ‘new’ healthcare bill don’t understand insurance. The only people mildly supporting this piece of crap are insurance companies, while groups representing patients, doctors, and hospitals oppose it. That is sort of a clue…

As for coastal property, once it becomes sea floor it isn’t really coastal property. The thing that is really pissing off local owners of waterfront property is that the public owns up to the high water line, so their lots are getting smaller every year.

Drumpf is running the White House like a reality show. He should be used to the cameras but has cut them off. He doesn’t understand the difference between having a press secretary and a PR rep. Spicer didn’t make the bad news good so he’s a failure.

9 Kryten42 { 03.11.17 at 3:03 am }

I know. It’s just insane. Really does seem like we went to bed & awoke in Bizzaro World!

At least there is some great news on the energy front! And if this works (and I do believe it will), the other States will come on board. They will have no choice. Major businesses have already pledged to support this, even willing to move to SA!

That will really f*uck up the LNP! A very good added bonus! LOL

‘Very impressed’: Elon Musk speaks to SA premier Jay Weatherill

Something not mentioned, but I’m certain Elon is counting on,, is that this will also allow easy setup of Tesla recharge stations throughout SA. Which will help sales of Tesla cars of course. 😉 Nobody does anything for nothing! Especially when they say they are! LOL But hey, I’m very OK with win-win! No deal is any good unless both sides get something positive out of it.

Something Trumper/Murdoch/Turdbull/etc. and their cadre of greedy selfish bastards don’t get!

10 Kryten42 { 03.11.17 at 3:56 am }

Bwaaahahahaha…

In an bid to get support of the large Muslim community prior to voting in WA’s State election, Hansen took a news crew and pretended to love Muslims (everyone in Aus knows that a complete load of bollocks, especially Muslims!) Several took a photo or vid with PH & spoke in Arabic holding a supportive poster whilst she smiled & nodded. Most of them said she was a bitch & couldn’t be trusted & wanted to get rid of Muslims!

The news services were all over it! Apparently, PH couldn’t be contacted! Well done! LMAO

11 Bryan { 03.11.17 at 11:34 am }

Elon Musk is what Trump wants people to believe him to be – a successful entrepreneur. He sees a great way to build up several of his companies at the same time in a large scale demonstration project, and he is willing to bet on it.

Hydro storage is probably cheaper in the long run, but it takes much longer to build. Musk as already got large systems in place in California, so he has a good idea about the build time and construction costs. Musk created his own wealth, so he must be confident that he can do it with time to spare and will probably want an early completion bonus in the contract.

It is a hard rule of PR that you never appear to promote a ‘product’ with people speaking a language you don’t understand. 😈

12 Kryten42 { 03.12.17 at 6:36 pm }

I’m somewhat more calm today. Mainly thanks to the kitties who seem to know not a good plan to annoy so much right now. 😉 Even little miss (who’s only 1) & is usually hyperactive has been fairly reserved & affectionate. Mr. Kitty has been sticking like a shadow! Hard to stay angry with that! 😀 And Twitter friends have been helping too.

Also, SNL is helping:
Scarlett Johansson plays ‘complcit’ Ivanka Trump in SNL sketch

Scarlett Did it quite well! (Not unexpectedly). LOL

Well, ALP won in a major lanslide in WA. But LNP/ON won’t get the message of course.

My anger wasn’t just re: Cambodia. But about our DHS Sec. & ADF Brigadier Campbell!

Centrelink’s doomed brigadier, Kathryn Campbell, stares down the hordes

Just look @ that body language when asked about the suicide of a young man hounded by her Dep’t for a huge debt! She should be fronting a Military Tribunal! A senior officer is supposed to protect the innocent & defenseless, not attack them & force them to suicide!

The ADF is just saying not their problem! She’s not acting as an Officer in her role as Sec DHS! WTF??! Senior Officer is ALWAYS! Not part time! Just semantics! Bloody cowards.

You know my views on Honor! She has none at all! I’d never follow her to the corner store, let alone into battle! She’ll get her men killed! I guarantee it. Seen her type before. Her commission is just a step up the political ladder. Means nothing to her.

13 Bryan { 03.12.17 at 8:42 pm }

It’s no fair that you found two nice kitties while mine have always jerks for the most part. 😉

What is Trump’s problem – he can’t get Mexico to pay for his wall so he’s going to make Cambodia? After all this time and all of the changes in government, some of them sponsored by the US, why is the State Department pissing off Cambodia when we could use all the help we can get to put a brake on Chinese ambitions. The Whacko in the Philippines has already headed that way so why are they annoying other Asian governments? Of course they just selected a guy who is fluent in Chinese to be ambassador to Russia, so I wasting time looking for a logical reason.

CenterLink doesn’t realize that the algorithm they are using to send people into debt collection is more properly used to flag cases for investigation by a human. Computers can’t do it yet, so there is no point in using then. Look at the mess created by Canada’s automated payroll system, Australia’s census, the Obamacare launch, &c ad nauseam – AI ain’t there yet. Come on, Tesla’s ‘autopilot’ missed a tractor trailer with all of its sensors, so you don’t accuse people of owing money without more than a chunk of code, even my code 😉

The Brigadier would be on administrative leave pending trial in the US for what she did in publishing client data. Even the US has laws against that.

As for laws concerning her privacy – pick any US flag officer [one star or above] and type their name into Google to get their official Pentagon CV, picture, etc. Public employees have to accept the public’s right to know about them.

14 Kryten42 { 03.13.17 at 1:55 am }

Well, Mr. Kitty is a lazy 4-legged food vacuum. I’ve cut down on his food because he’s been conning the neighbors into feeding him. usually scraps or tinned fish & milk. Luckily he’s not lactose intolerant, but Miss is. I asked the neighbors over a week ago not to let the greedy pig con them! He’s finally figured out the only food he’ll get is here. So not going out so much now. He’s not the brightest kitty I’ve ever had!

Little Miss has way too much energy! 😀 But she’s settling down. I got her some toys to play with & a kitty gym! She loves it, he just uses the scratch post. Whenever he can be bothered to move off my foot cushion under my desk! *sigh*

I cannot see the ADF getting away with this crap for long!

15 Bryan { 03.13.17 at 1:56 pm }

Mr Kitty may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he can now aspire to be President of the United States 😈 He has found a ‘job’ that provides food and housing, so he’s doing all right. 🙂

Is Little Miss having cat fits? Property and her mother threw cats fits. I found out when I took them to get fixed that vets need to know because it affects the anesthetic that will be used. It’s probably just her age and lack of ‘prey’ that are juicing her.

Governments are continually trying to hide things that really aren’t important and revealing things that are. Politicians don’t seem to have any real sense of the value of things or information.

16 Kryten42 { 03.13.17 at 8:18 pm }

I’m not really too hard on Mr. Kitty. He is gentle & affectionate… especially when sucking up for food! 😆

Mr. Kitty as POTUS would be a step up really. Only wants food & rubs. So would be far cheaper at least. Doesn’t seem to care about Nationality, Religion, Color, Sex… Would love anyone that donates a little food & rubs! 😆

Little Miss is becoming a real sweetie. Even occasionally remembers to retract claws when she get’s exuberant! No cat fit’s, just high energy. but she’s relaxing more. I think she’s just afraid of being abandoned again. She must have been quite young. likes to hide under my bed, or the divan in my office. But she’s spending more time on it than under it lately. 🙂

I seem to be becoming popular on twitter. 😆 Took almost 3 years to get 73 followers, 2 weeks to get to 139. 😀 1,160 on Pinterest, most the past year. But Pinterest seriously sux! They are really screwing it up. Why I spent more time lately on Twitter. *shrug*

Seems the South Australian Gov. is quite serious about becoming energy independent! They released their plan. It looks good:

The SA Energy Plan

WA may follow apparently. With their huge win, the ALP will have about a 2/3 majority. Will be interesting to see how they use that. No, I don’t trust *ANY* politicians! Especially with such a majority.

17 Bryan { 03.13.17 at 9:16 pm }

I avoid Facebook & Twitter. They want too much information, and too many people supply it. You need to be up on those services for business reasons, but I don’t like the limitations.

It takes a while for females to calm down and a vet visit for males to calm down 😉

Excise will flop in my my lap, but Property wants to be coaxed. They will both show up for brushing on the keyboard drawer.

Well, they have seen what deregulation does, and now they need to bring control back into the hands of the government so the system can offer more to users than to businesses. It’s a real bitch that things have to get really screwed up before people will admit that privatization is not the answer to all problems. Without all of the outages this year nothing would be done.

I wish the ALP well, but they need to go slow and steady to improve peoples lives without huge tax increases or deficits. People will be welling to pay for things that will help them, but if they don’t see the benefit, Labor will have a problem. Big wins can breed terminal overconfidence.

18 Kryten42 { 03.14.17 at 7:05 am }

Both kitties have had vet visits. Mr. Kitty had a 2nd one after trying to steal Little Miss’s food (she may be half his size, but full of beans and not scared of anything bigger than she is!) And he’s a chicken. He tried a swipe at her after she warned him & she let him have it! Fur was literally flying! I had to grab him and toss him out! He could have been injured a lot worse. *sigh* It was his own fault.

Here’s a pretty good write-up about the SA Energy plan. it’s going to be really tricky, but SA really has no choice. Turdbull is doing bugger all, in fact, just making it worse! The Fed Gov is in a mad panic since SA announced their plan! They know the other states will have to think about going it alone also, especially if they see it working well in SA. Turdbull is in the pockets of the Energy/mining lobby & companies, and this is the last thing they want.

Jay Weatherill’s big energy call is a survivalist fix of last resort

It will probably take a couple years to fully implement and see how it’s working. but at least someone is trying to do something! And most of the people like that. WA proved they are totally fed up with the LNP. But like the GOP, they will never learn! Good! It’s their funeral. 😀

19 Bryan { 03.14.17 at 11:11 am }

Female cats protect kittens first and food second, males fight other males to impress females. Little Miss is by default the alpha female and it is her ‘hunting territory’. The lad was undone by thousands of years of survival instincts. 🙂

The people of SA are looking for a solution. Prices are going up and service is going down. They have seen the effects of privatization and figured out that it is a con. They want a stable electrical supply with lower emissions that cost less, and politicians had better get with the program. It doesn’t take too many sweat covered nights because there is no power for their air conditioner to put people into a very bad mood. People get really proddy down here after hurricanes, even though it is pretty obvious why there is no power.

20 Kryten42 { 03.14.17 at 8:01 pm }

Yes (to all). 😀 Mr. Kitty loves being brushed, Little Miss loves going out & rolling around in the dirt & grass! Comes back covered in leaves, grass etc. She’ll let me brush her, but only for a short time before she has enough. Cat’s. *shrug*

I said back in 2014 the whole social media thing for me was a project to test them out. Learn the dynamics, do some testing. It’s been interesting. 🙂 I pretty much left Twitter alone a month ago. Just tweeted something now & then. Took 2 years to get 73 followers. Then I started a planned campaign about Trump/May/turnbull, and my followers are 145 in less than a Month. Some quite high-caliber (Gervais, Emma Watson & Adele just last night, some leftie politicians, a few media personalities, Soledad, Maddow), even a couple big authors. Pinterest has really gone downhill the last 2 years! Really a PITA to use now. But I have 1,163 followers, though I’ve only been updating my new “World is SO Trumped” group board! 😆 Seems popular. 😉 All part of my experiment. 😀 Given up on Facebook (I call it Whingebook), I also use a few others.

I have some ideas about what to do about all this, but nothing solid. Just wanted to test the waters & see how it all shapes up. Hard to make plans when one only has contradictory theories & some assumptions. 🙂

I never use my real details online (except for my personal/private accounts of course) & use a very good VPN & very secure pwd manager (all my passwords are longer than 12 mixed char’s, all different & change randomly every 2-4 months. If 1 is compromised, the others are safe. 😉 Even my Gmail account’s are linked to a secure email service in Europe I’ve used over 12 years where they didn’t ask for any personal details.

Oh! Maddow tweeted she has Trumper’s tax returns and will be releasing them on her news program today. At pretty much the same time, KAC stated at a news conference that under no circumstances will Trump release his tax returns! LMAO The irony! 😆

21 Kryten42 { 03.14.17 at 8:56 pm }

Trump tax return: MSNBC report sparks angry White House response – live

Can’t be long! Any day now, POTUS will have a stroke! LMAO

22 Bryan { 03.14.17 at 9:11 pm }

The Guardian sent an alert on my iPad about the returns being leaked to MSNBC. Drumpf probably decided not to pay a bill and someone got pissed off.

Twitter and Facebook don’t allow lurking, so I don’t have access.

KAC – the noise cats make just before expelling a hairball 😈

I have a hard time taking people who think their microwave is spying on them seriously.

You need to be familiar with these sites because clients will be using them and want them integrated into their web presence. I have the luxury of ignoring things that I find annoying. Do I really want to be on the same system used by a J. Fred Muggs wannabe who conned people into voting for him for President?

23 Kryten42 { 03.14.17 at 10:51 pm }

😆 True about KAC! 😀

Honestly…. I’ve all but given up on the Biz. Too busy existing & surviving. Health not good. *shrug*

See this:
‘Fat Leonard’: US admiral arrested in sex for secrets scandal

24 Bryan { 03.15.17 at 12:01 pm }

More of the joys of privatization and the military. People in the US don’t really understand why a major segment of the world thinks we are real assholes. The Admiral must have slept through all of the “you are an ambassador of the United States” pre-deployment lectures concerning conduct in foreign countries [if they bother to give them any more].

When you politicize the promotion of officers, they act like politicians – fetid scum.

25 Kryten42 { 03.16.17 at 2:46 am }

Yes. And now trumper wants to privatize Air Traffic Control! LMAO What could possibly go wrong?! Other than it would be every Terrorist & Foreign Anti-USA Governments wet dream? 😆

Not to mention destroying Airlines, Tourism, & a host of other industries! 😀

In some good news, Judge Derrick Watson ruled against EO-2 before it was even implemented! 😆 Nice! And I love the ruling.

‘Illogic’ means Trump travel ban ‘fundamentally flawed’: Hawaii judge

Now I guess it’ll head to the Supreme Court. Should be interesting… 😉

26 Kryten42 { 03.16.17 at 6:38 am }

Looks like a 2nd Judge in MD has also blocked enforcement of key parts of EO-2. 🙂

27 Bryan { 03.16.17 at 1:07 pm }

He is destroying the airline industry with the Nazification of the Transportation Security Administration, so there will be very few people affected by the time he privatizes ATC. Drones will probably become the dominate form of aircraft.

Hawaii is part of the Ninth Circuit which already found Muslim Ban 1.0 a loser. The Supremes will have an easy time calling this turkey burned.

28 Kryten42 { 03.16.17 at 6:55 pm }

Yes. 😀

Apparently, at least one member of our RAN has been implicated in the above US Navy scandal:

Australian sailor investigated over ‘Fat Leonard’ sex and bribery scandal

I’m sure he’s not the only one. *shrug*

There is a debate raging here about the justness of laws. Thought you might be interested in this article:

On the dangerous dishonesty of Rule of Law

29 Kryten42 { 03.16.17 at 7:04 pm }

Oh, and this… Wasn’t going to post originally, because I was unsure of it’s accuratacy, but I decided to with a caveat. It seems legit.

Nazi-Allied Group Claims Top Trump Aide Sebastian Gorka As Sworn Member

A friend of Bannon’s no doubt. *shrug*

30 Bryan { 03.16.17 at 9:19 pm }

Well at least we are sharing the graft and corruption with our allies instead of hogging it all. I’m sure that Drumpf will fix this … the sharing, of course, not the corruption. 😈

Bad laws result in contempt for the law and a loss of moral standing. Prohibition and its “Drug War’ clone have resulted in increased violence and lawlessness without solving anything.

Gorka refuses to confirm or deny his membership in the the group. If he wasn’t a member why wouldn’t he just deny it? What is the downside for denying that you are a member of a group you don’t belong to? He doesn’t seem to be qualified for the position he has, and he doesn’t seem to be able to get the clearance required for that position. Too many questions for someone allowed into the White House.
