March for Science

March for Science logo

This Earth Day many people joined a March for Science as a counterweight to the ‘alternate facts’ favored by the Drumpf administration. Willful ignorance is leading the nation on the wrong path.

Crooks & Liars features some of the signs seen at marches.

Yeah! I’ve been following the marches here. I wish I could have attended. 🙁 Still, I can send encouragement, thanks and give small donations. 🙂 Amazing how many ppl are pissed here that the retarded LNP are gutting CSIRO.

Some excellent signs from various marches. The first sign is one of my favorites (but there are so man great ones!) It’s simple and I love irony! 😀 Via Slate:

This is what happens when you involve people who can think and spell 😉

Views that now apparently require mass marches to bring them to the attention of the general public:

* Women are people who deserve rights
* Science is important; don’t ban it
* POTUS should pay taxes
* Water is wet.

Wait, that last one maybe doesn’t belong on that list. Or does it?

As for the last one, the 50% of the US population that live within 50 miles of a coast are going to have direct experience in the next few decades.

It doesn’t really make any difference because the only people who count are the minority that live in ‘the heart land’ of the United States and think that people who inherited a lot of money must be smart to be rich.
