Clueless Politicians

Trump’s use of private cellphone raises security concerns:

U.S. President Donald Trump has been handing out his cellphone number to world leaders and urging them to call him directly, an unusual invitation that breaks diplomatic protocol and is raising concerns about the security and secrecy of the U.S. commander in chief’s communications.

Trump has urged leaders of Canada and Mexico to reach him on his cellphone, according to former and current U.S. officials with direct knowledge of the practice. Of the two, only Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has taken advantage of the offer so far, the officials said.

Oh, yes, let’s try to set up secret backdoor communications with the Russians, but put the rest of the world on the modern version of the ‘party line’. At least he doesn’t want a private e-mail server 😈

The UK has its own problems – Ex-Ukip politician calls for death penalty for suicide bombers:

A former Ukip politician has demanded the death penalty be introduced – for suicide bombers.

Janice Atkinson, who stood for Ukip in Folkstone and Hythe before becoming an independent politician, made the comments following the Manchester terror attack which claimed 22 lives on Monday night.

Someone should give Ms Atkinson the OED definition of “suicide”.

Two weeks ago Theresa May and the Conservative Party were looking at a landslide win in the UK elections but the 31 May YouGov seat projection shows a drop to less than a majority. Apparently after reading what the Tories were planning on doing, people didn’t want to vote for them anymore.

Well, the UK proves that the US has no monopoly on idiots in office…

Ms Atkinson is the British version of Louie Gohmert. 🙂

We have several. You’re lucky! 🙁

We have an alcoholic Dep. PM saying everyone on unemployment benefits should br drug tested,. Which of course had Aussies on twitter going nuts with things like “You first!”, “Politicians should be drug & alcohol tested before sitting in the House” (I agree with that one!) Etc.

And then, there is Dutton. He was once a Qld. Snr. Detective in the Drug & Sex Offenders squads, then the NCA (National Crime Authority). But nobody apparently has seen his record & the Qld. Police are not saying a word. Given his obvious complete lack of morals & ethics, I want to see his record!

“People on cofefe houses shouldn’t throw cofefe.” 😆

A young man, Charles Clymer‏, a Texan and self-claimed Veteran, posted this lengthy & somewhat impressive rant on twitter (I’ve condensed the 21 tweets):

On Nov. 8, 2016, Hillary Clinton received more votes than any presidential candidate in history, save Obama, and yet seven months later, so saturated is our discourse w/ the take that HRC was a bad candidate that many are surprised by that factoid. Again and again, we are told that Hillary Rodham Clinton was terrible at campaigning, terrible at connecting, and terrible in vision. Reading between the lines, more often than not, this rhetoric really seems to want us to believe that HRC is simply a terrible person. And yet… that pesky little factoid lingers: 65.8 million votes for HRC, just ~60k less than Obama in ’12 w/ .2% less turnout nationally. Even ignoring every other factor—the Russians, Comey, sexist media—HRC still performed about as well as Obama ’12 in the popular vote. A reasonable argument could be made that HRC did just as well—or better—than previous Dems, despite having more obstacles. In fact, the word “obstacles” is pretty damn understated in light of the mountain of evidence being uncovered daily. Yes, Hillary Clinton was a flawed candidate and I know this because EVERY candidate is a flawed candidate. Perfection doesn’t exist. No presidential candidate—I don’t care how breathtaking in victory—ever ran a perfect campaign. Hillary is no different. But what is clear, beyond the shadow of a doubt, is that no candidate has received more criticism despite winning the popular vote. In fact, no losing candidate in history has received more criticism, however terrible their own campaigns, than Hillary w/ 66m votes. We have seen the media rake HRC over the coals for flaws, existent and not, they have steadfastly ignored in male candidates. hey range from the trivial (“she’s too loud”) to the legal (“those damn e-mails”) to the political (“she’s really corrupt”). The truth is that Hillary Clinton, warts and all, is no more flawed than any male politician, except for that biggest flaw: gender. hey claim Hillary was uninspiring, but I don’t remember Mr. Gore or Mr. Kerry being associated with the word “exciting” in ’00 or ’04. Gore had the election stolen from him, true, but he also lost his home state, yet the criticism was squarely aimed at Bush (and Nader). Kerry had the election stolen (Ohio voting machines), but he was also very boring and a bit weak, yet Bush was (rightly) blamed. Both Gore and Kerry were guilty of being soft. Both had a weak opponent (Bush). Both lost. And both were spared most of the blame. But whereas Gore and Kerry were given the benefit of context and nuance, HRC has died a million deaths since Election Day. Hillary has been blamed for a farce of an e-mail “scandal” while her male peers get away with similar and much worse. Hillary was excoriated for “corruption” even while Trump seemingly flaunted his own egregious ethics violations (and still does). Hillary’s health was called into question even as Trump literally forged his own medical physical and the media basically ignored it. Hillary’s paid speeches were blasted, yet we still don’t have Trump’s or Bernie’s tax returns from the past five years, let alone ten.

I must say I’m somewhat less impressed by Bernie than i was before the election. I’ve never been terribly impressed by Hillary (& it has nothing whatsoever to do with gender). But far less impressed by Trump or pretty much any GOP candidate than either!

IMHO, both the GOP & DNC need to be scrapped, along with the Electoral College. *shrug*

Dutton would be categorized as a ‘vice’ cop in the US, those who enforce laws against vices rather than crimes against people. In the law enforcement community there is a widespread belief that all vice cops are crooked. Given the money involved in drugs and gambling, there is a known problem with police corruption. This is a primary reason that I support legalizing and taxing all of the vices.

Clinton won the popular vote. She got 3 million more votes than Trump which is why he is so insecure – he knows he lost the popular vote and is in office on a technicality. He keeps doing stupid shit to avoid admitting the truth – he lost the election and has not done much of anything right since taking over.

Florida did drug testing for everyone applying for any kind of assistance and discovered that people with no money aren’t buying drugs. It costs us a lot of money for nothing. Of note is the fact that the wife of our governor owns drug testing facilities which made a lot of tax dollars for this disaster.

True about Cop’s working Vice. It was so bad in the 70’s, especially in NSW, that the NCA was created. When i was transferred briefly to the DIO, 1 of my jobs was helping to ensure security for the NCA investigating NSW Police corruption. My job was taken over by ASIO, which quickly resulted in the *secret* NCA HQ Records Dep’t being bombed & records destroyed. It was eventually found that the corruption was so deep, they basically fired everyone and started again. *shrug*

Same with the LNP wish for Drug Testing here. LNP Affiliates own the lab that would be used. *shrug* Same old…

This was an interesting and in-depth look into Trup’s *Religious Beliefs*, which I’ve said many times is zero (or looking in a Mirror & saying “Hi God!”)

God and the Don

I upset some fool on Twitter awhile ago when she tweeted that “Even President trump has to ask God for forgiveness for his sins!”

I replied: “1st, Trump would NEVER ask for forgiveness, 2nd if he ever did, he’d just look in a mirror & say “I forgive me.””

I ended up blocking her because the moron went on a huge rant about how religious & faithful Trump was! The sheeple are so easily conned. LR Hubbard was right. Religion is the easiest way to make money there is. Too bad I have morals, ethics & honor! I’d be a multi $billionaire by now! With my skills, I’d make Scientology look like a kid’s piggy bank!

*SIGH*

His mother was a Scot, so he was taken to a Presbyterian church for Sunday school. That was to be expected. Real Christianity looks down at almost everything that Trump does and espouses, so he isn’t going to attend regularly to hear about what a schmuck he is. He talked about the ratings of his TV show at the only prayer breakfast he has attended. He didn’t have a Passover Seder at the White House, won’t have an Eid al-Fitr celebration, and had to be pushed into the Easter egg roll at the White House unlike other Presidents.

He’s a real estate broker and will say whatever he thinks will sell the house.

Kushner has another nail in the family coffin! 😆

Jared Kushner Just Got Busted Building Luxury Condos With Grants Meant For Poor Communities

Like Father & Father-in-Law, like son! 😆

The great ‘blighted neighborhood’ con, so ‘developers’ can get welfare payments from the government. Community redevelopment grants are a way of paying off campaign contributors by sending ‘welfare’ money to the 1% at the top.
