Trump’s Six Pack

Trump’s Six Pack: Trump Organization, Trump Foundation, Trump Campaign, Trump Inaugural Committee, Trump Transition Team, and the Trump Administration are each under investigation by one or more of the following: the Special Counsel’s Office, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, the US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, the US Attorney for District of Columbia, the Attorney General of the State of New York at a minimum. Those are investigations that we know about, and others are hinted at in various court filings. [Update: add the Attorney Generals of Maryland and New Jersey to the list of investigators.]

Meanwhile Trump’s defense team is not impressive:

New York University law professor Melissa Murray lamented on Sunday that Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani is descending down “a death spiral of stupid” after the former New York mayor argued that Donald Trump did not break campaign finance laws by paying hush money to alleged mistresses during the 2016 campaign.

Trump’s meeting with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer over the border wall devolved into a reality TV episode which caused CNN political analyst, Ana Navarro to bring popcorn to the discussion and compare it to an episode of Real Housewives.

Giuliani says that Mueller will interview Trump “over my dead body”.

Has anybody verified that Giuliani still fogs a mirror?

“Brain death” is the definitive standard in New York, so Guiliani is in big trouble on that score.

Yep! And speaking of stupid & border wall… George Takei has this gem (on his blog):

Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen Tells Congress ‘From Congress I Would Ask for Wall, We Need Wall’

I couldn’t stand the stupid from this utter moron any longer!

I was aware/consulted on security around the construction of a new border crossing near San Diego, California. It wasn’t the walls & fences that worked; it was the technology, i.e. sensors, cameras, etc, that really secured the area. All of this is really stupid. we have had a negative flow of undocumented people for several years as the economy in Mexico improved. Workers can make more money at a Ford assembly plant in Mexico than a farm in the Central Valley of California. We would have more than 10 people a mile to cover the southern border if they could hire them, but apparently it takes takes 4 agents to handle a mother and child.

This isn’t a wall problem, this is a management problem. The Fall of Constantinople on 29 May 1453, really was the end of the worship of walls. The Maginot Line shows the limitations of walls. I would just use a boat if I was going to avoid Trump’s wall. It’s easier than trudging through the desert.

Half of illegal migrants come by jet airliner, actually. They come on student visas or tourist visas and just never leave. Of course, they’re mostly European or Asian so Turmp’s base doesn’t care about them…. not like them thare Messicans whut took all dem jobs, ya’ll.

And the serious “terrorists” come across the Canadian border, but we can’t let reality, facts, or logic be the basis for spending billions of tax dollars.

BTW, that 10/mile figure is based on the currently authorized positions on the Southern border, not new positions.
