Trump just can’t help himself. If he had moderated his behavior, he could have made it to the 2020 election without dealing with a formal impeachment. Instead he removed all of the moderating forces around him and tries to run the government like it was his business. The result is: House launches formal impeachment inquiry into Trump.

There’s been no leak from the whistle-blower and from the legal team representing the whistle-blower confirming any of the details of what actually was the full universe of claims outlined in that whistle-blower complaint and that validated by the inspector general of the intelligence community,” Moss pointed out.
Or in simpler terms, all of the stories out there haven’t been from the people who actually know what’s in the substance of the complaint. They’ve come from current and former administration officials, who are always quoted as anonymous sources.
“People need to wait and they need to let all of the information to come out before they render judgment on what happened here,” he added.
Trump and company are presenting the Ukrainian extortion attempt as the entire issue, but Mr. Moss is hinting that there is more in the actual complaint. It would appear that strong-arming the Ukrainian government to create a scandal about the Biden family may be the least of the sins cited by the whistle-blower.

Dershowitz is not worth the energy required to read about him. He is well past his “use by” date and has forgotten all that he once knew about the Constitution and the law. He no longer has a reputation to lose.

I was looking for a video I vaguely remembered from when Obama was POTUS. Found it… It’s hilarious! Both President Obama & Jake Tapper really give it to Trump & FOX. A federal crime requires a Federal pardon and a state crime requires a state pardon. That’s why several of those convicted in Federal courts in the Mueller investigation are also being charged in state courts – so Trump’s pardon is not a “Get out of Jail Free” card.
The US really needs better mental health solutions and early intervention to prevent Fox News addiction. Until that happens we will still have mindless trolls and Republicans.
I assume that the next move will be to ban cats & terriers as they may be carrying plague because that worked so well in the Middle Ages. Then we can try arsenic and crushed emeralds – that didn’t work, but it sounded like a good idea at the time. These things are never truly eliminated, they are only beaten back until people forget or refuse to take reasonable precautions.

They don’t technically need to be lawyers because at the time the Constitution was written there was a notable lack of law schools and internship was the path to the legal profession. These days you won’t get nominated without a degree.

They really need to get some cats for the White House. They are safer than poisons and universally accepted for rodent control. There is probably a surfeit of kittens at the local area shelters who could be trained for service by local foster homes. Free range mice are the best food for cats.

True about kitties! And I agree. We have firld mice running around in Summer, Missie & Mr. Kitty loved it! Only difference was Missie just wanted to chase & play with them. Never saw her eat one. Big lazy Kitty surprised me the first time I saw him! He was suddenly the great Hunter! Fast & agile. Proved my belief his first love was “food”! *sigh* I miss them. 🙄😔
There is no way of knowing which cats will be mousers. The best I’ve seen were feral mommas. When it was time to wean there were no rodents left in the area – they got presented to the litter as “real cat food”.
The Brits have Larry at 10 Downing and Palmerston at Whitehall, not to mention the hoard at the Heritage in St, Petersburg. The US is trailing the world in cat-based anti-rodent systems. We are losing the race.
