Three of the four ‘Executive Orders’ Trump signed weren’t actually Executive Orders. Read the whole thing at Crooks & Liars, but basically this was another con during his break from playing golf.
As for the boost in unemployment payments, he is using FEMA emergency funds which means the states have to come up with $100 to get $300 more from FEMA. States and local governments are going broke dealing with the pandemic and and economic slow down.
He is suspending collection of withholding taxes, but you still owe them and have to pay them by the end of the year. This is an attack on Medicare and Social Security, and he flat stated he wants to stop funding those programs if he gets reelected.

One thing that Dottard & co are doing, is making damned sure postal voting is as difficult as possible. But most MAGA morons don’t get the real problem with the slow dismantling of the USPS.

I saw an update on the USPS on Twitter. Trucks were seen removing Mailboxes in NYC. USPS claim it’s simply “routine maintenance”. Other’s have posted images from other States also.

Given that Trump has stated openly that what is going on with the Postal Service is screw with the election, he and his minions are in violation of state election laws. Trump can’t pardon state conviction and his new Postmaster General may be serving time in multiple states, one after another. New Jersey is already looking at it.
That ad that the Lincoln Project posted is from Vote Vets, an organization of actual US veterans who are pissed off. I’m in the First Congressional District of Florida. Florida-1 has more veterans than any other Congressional District in the county.

E-Script is a mail order pharmacy associated with Tricare which is the military health insurance. They send meds by mail with a minimum co-pay. There are a number of major mail order pharmacies associated with AARP and other groups. Retirees use the mail as do the guys who are pulling overseas tours. Mess with the USPS and the troops stationed overseas can’t vote.

Trump can’t use Mar-a-Lago as an address because it is not a residence, it is a business, thanks to the zoning change on the property made by Donald J Trump when he bought it. He can’t legally stay there more than three months a year, which means it isn’t his permanent address. If the local supervisor of elections had a guts he would have refused to send the ballots and filed a fraud complaint with the state attorney.
Without the postal service you can’t get anything on your overseas tours. Imagine depending on the Iraqi or Afghan post office. Image paying the rates for a Euro post office. When my Mom visited my little brother in Hong Kong she used the US military extension to the US Postal Service (FPO) to send stuff back to the states rather than dealing with the airline and then customs. (This was a benefit she had as the dependent of a retired military member.)
