Maximum sustained winds: 80 mph [130 kph].
Wind Gusts: 105 mph [170 kph].
Tropical Storm Wind Radius: 150 miles [240 km].
Hurricane Wind Radius: 25 miles [ 35 km].
Minimum central pressure: 979 mb ↑.

Currently about 45 miles [ 70 km] Northeast of Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

At 4PM CDT the storm made landfall in southeastern Louisiana.

A Hurricane Warning is in effect from the mouth of the Pearl River to the Mississippi/Alabama border.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect from the Mississippi/Alabama border to the Walton/Bay County Line, Florida.

A Storm Surge Warning is in effect from the mouth of the Pearl River to Navarre, Florida, including Pensacola Bay and Mobile Bay.
