Movement: Northwest [305°] near 14 mph [22 kph].
Maximum sustained winds: 65 mph [100 kph].
Wind Gusts: 80 mph [130 kph].
Tropical Storm Wind Radius: 310 miles [500 km].
Minimum central pressure: 993 mb.

Currently about 40 miles [ 60 km] East of Marathon, Florida.

At 6AM CST Eta is inland over east-central Cuba.

A Hurricane Warning is in effect for the Florida Keys from Ocean Reef to the Dry Tortugas, including Florida Bay.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for the northwestern Bahamas, including the Abacos, Andros Island, Berry Islands, Bimini, Eleuthera, Grand Bahama Island, and New Providence; the Florida coast from Brevard/Volusia County line to Englewood; Lake Okeechobee.

A Storm Surge Warning is in effect from the Florida Keys from Ocean Reef to the Dry Tortugas, including Florida Bay.

A Hurricane Watch is in effect for the Florida coast from Golden Beach to Bonita Beach.

A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for the Cuban provinces of La Habana, Artemisa y Mayabeque, Pinar del Rio and the Isle of Youth; the Florida coast from north of Englewood to Anna Maria Island.

A Storm Surge Watch is in effect for the Florida coast from Bonita Beach to Card Sound Bridge.
