Awwww! 🙁 Poor Pita! I sympathize.
I had a cat once that didn’t mind water. Seriously! But that was just her being tough! She laughed at spray bottles, and discovered the bird bath was a good cat bath in summer! Stay cool and maybe get a feed! 😆
I shudder to think how Boris, Robym or Bebe would take to the heat with their coats… or Ted with all that black fur!

CC, the calico that lives with a neighbor will jump in the shower with you if you don’t shut the door, but the squirt gun still rules with the ferals.
I was wilting in the heat, Jams, so Pita has a right. He was still raising hell for the first few days of the heat wave, but it finally got to him. All a long hair can do is roll over on their backs to expose their stomachs and hope for a breeze.
Aw, poor Pita. He’s too tired to pick on the other kittens. That’s okay, I bet all the other kitties are trying to nap, too. He’s sure a cutie!
The heat takes it out of them, OWL, and he doesn’t have his own porcelain throne like some cats. 😉
