US Clock Changed This Weekend

Daylight Savings Time

Daylight Savings Time ended in the US this morning, November 6th at 2AM. It became 1AM and you got an extra hour of sleep, unless you work the “graveyard shift” or forgot totally like I did.

Most new devices make the change automatically, although many, like my clock radio, change under the old system and have to be ignored for a couple of weeks.

TMF usually wakes me up at 8:09am to cater to him and get to work on time so I can afford all the kibble that he wants and needs.

Today he woke me up at 7:09am.

Daylight savings time sucks.

For whatever reason my cats want dinner at 5PM CST/6PM CDT under the old system when Standard was the time for most of the year. They use the sun, not an atomic clock, to set the time.

And TMF woke me up at 7:09AM *AGAIN* today. SIGH! I guess I’ll probably have another week of that before he gets the message that I’m not going to get up at that time to cater to him… when I say “cater to him”, he has food, he has water, he has kitty litter, he just wants me to get up and pay attention to him. Worse than a toddler!

This made me think of TMF.

Scanning the source on your site, nothing jumps out at me. Which is a mangled post?
