Whether playing an organ in nothing more than a tie or watching the penguin on top of the ‘telly’ explode, Terry Jones appealed to a sense of humor normally associated with middle school. He wrote, directed, and acted in television shows and films. He wrote children’s books and serious history books (his Oxford degree).
