While I’ve Been Away
Geraint Thomas, a Welsh rider on Team Sky won the Tour de France on a race plagued by less than friendly conduct by the spectators along the course. Then there was the demonstration by farmers that the police broke up with tear gas that affected the main body of the riders and the hazard of a patch of cobblestones on part of the course. Christopher Froome wasn’t at the top of his form, but the harassment of the spectators who made multiple efforts to impede him put another win out of reach.
Meanwhile Trump has been tweeting his confession concerning the misdeeds of himself and others to the world. This latest batch amply demonstrates why his lawyers don’t want him to meet with Mueller’s team – he will confess to kidnapping the Lindbergh baby and every other crime of note in the last 100 years. He can’t help himself. He thinks that he can convince anyone of anything. He really seems to believe: “When the President does it, that means that it’s not illegal.”
The number of apartments I’m working on has expanded from 1 to 3, so I won’t be back for a while.

The fool has admitted in a twitter storm that his campaign conspired with agents of the Russian government to obtain information that was damaging to Hillary Clinton. You can’t legally accept ‘a thing of value’ from a foreign nation when you are running for Federal offices. Actually that meeting in Trump Tower with the Russian lawyer could be worth at least three different crimes for everyone involved. He keeps believing his own bullshit.
Apparently the US tabloid ,the National Enquirer, is attempting to distance itself from Trump, just like TMZ & Levin. I get the feeling that these changes are part of an attempt to avoid attracting the attention of the Mueller investigators.
Senator Coons only covered the conspiracy offense. There are also campaign finance laws that were violated. These clowns have stumbled into some major prison sentences if convicted.
I don’t expect to ever see the tools again, but I would love to have the moron try to pawn them. I won’t get the tools back, but he will get arrested.

And 5 major US CEOs who publicly cut ties with the Trump admin. nearly a year ago over Trump’s Charlottesville response, will have dinner with him at his club tonight. Their representatives didn’t respond to questions from CNBC about whether their views regarding Trump have changed. I guess they want intro’s to Dotard’s Russian oligarchs before he’s burned.
Given the way the US cop’s do their job, I’d be surprised if they even charged the guy that stole your tools. Their incompetence is truly stunning (pun intended!) See this:

The schmuck who stole my tools been charged, but he is in Alabama, and the Sheriff won’t spend the money for extradition for anything less murder – he doesn’t have the money in his budget. Being “tough on crime” doesn’t seem to include being willing to pay for it.
The Mar-a-Lago Crowd are representatives of those who believe that anyone who can run one successful business is qualified to run any other business. You know, the way John Sculley’s experience at Pepsi was all that was needed for the success of Apple … oh, wait, Apple tanked under Sculley. [Sculley got his MBA from Wharton, just like Trump] Why wouldn’t the chief executive of a comic book empire like Marvel be the person to run a massive health care system like the Veterans Administration? 👿
