i’ve tried, but i’ll never be able to think of the tampa-st pete area as south florida.

off topic, i’m amused by the war[s?] that was apparently engendered by the emblem on your flag of neutrality.

It’s barely to the South of the University of Central Florida in Orlando, but who wants to go to college in Key West or Miami? 😉

My Berner roots made their big money as pike companies during the religious wars, so most people fail to understand that “neutral” doesn’t mean “pacifist”, which is probably why the Bern bear “had to be male” – it was good for business.

If things get much dumber I’m going to switch to the other Bern flag which emphasizes the difference between neutrality and pacifism.

When you grow up in Toledo, college in Miami sounds pretty damn good 🙂

I was going to apply to USF, but when I found out freshmen weren’t allowed to have cars within the county (this was in 1971) and I was driving my 1965 Mustang 2+2, I applied to UM.

At Colgate only seniors were allowed to have cars in 1964.

Now is the time to start looking for your plate, Bobby.
