I noticed! 😉 And I feel your pain m8. You have my sympathies.

Technology… So when will the good part happen do you think? 😉 LOL

I was messing about with some extensions for Firefox I was curious about. There’s one called ‘KnowMore’ that reports sites that have dubious ethis, business practices, human rights violations, etc. 🙂 It picked a couple of News Corp owned sites with the message “This site is owned by a company with dubious business practices”. It was the IGN Gamers site. I had no idea IGN was owned by News Corp! Makes me wonder what else Murdock ownes we don’t know about! *sigh* Anyway, if you are interested:

KNowMore.Org: The News Corporation Limited

Glad you are back. 🙂 I was annoyed when I received the DB error message. LOL I don’t get much time these days. Typical timing I guess. 😀

Cheers!

It wouldn’t have been so annoying if it hadn’t occured just before a scheduled hurricane update, and then they said it would be back “Real Soon Now”, which turned into 3 hours.

Yeah, people don’t understand how consolidated the big media companies are. There are only a half dozen major players and they are into everything: TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, book publishing, recordings, games, etc. There’s no oxygen left for the independents.

I wasn’t aware that Murdoch & companies had any ethics to be dubious of.

3:00 am? Hmmm…busy answering any phones?

It would have been difficult to have answered the phone: the phone and its charger were flying around the house connected to the wire wrapped around the neck of a cat in full panic mode.

LMAO I’m only laughing because I experienced something similar some years ago when I had cats! They do the darnedest (and most annoying) things at times! 😀

I had a couple ferrets when I was a kid. Now they are insane! But thankfully, they run out of energy quickly and spend most of their time sleeping. 🙂 You have to be VERY careful with them, they are quite fragile and love getting into tight spaces. And they can be trained too! I trained one to nibble my sisters toes when she slept (She was a lazybones and needed some encouraging to get out of bed usually. We were late for school more than once before I got ferrets). LOL See… I was a normal kid. 😉 😀

Yes, Hipparchia, jumping on the kitchen counter that is a definite no-no, reaching in to pull the cord out from between the wall and the microwave, sticking its head into the cord that it pulled out, and then panicking…at 3AM running around the house slamming the phone and charger into the furniture. The phone works until the battery dies, but there’s no sign of the remains of the charger and the charger costs more than the phone to replace. I did find the cord under the futon.

People who have them speak highly of ferrets, but they tend to be short-lived and, for some reason, banned in a lot of places. They were the mousers of choice in Europe.

Well, cats are free…well, except for the $150 operation & shots; and the food; and the flea stuff; and the litter; and the hairball clean-up; and the clawed everything; but, other than than those things, free…OK, $50 for a new charger or phone with a free charger.
