Would You Like Formica With Your Coffee?
From MSNBC/Reuters: FDA warns of instant coffee in U.S. from China
WASHINGTON – U.S. regulators warned the public on Friday not to consume seven Mr. Brown instant coffee and milk tea products that were made in China because of concerns they may be contaminated with melamine.
The Food and Drug Administration said the products were recalled by King Car Food Industrial Co Ltd “due to possible contamination with melamine.”
I’m fairly certain that the counter top is supposed to be under the cup, not in it.

Not to sound “elitist”, but people still drink instant coffee? And who knew there could be so many “uses” for formica.
I love my Caffe Appassionato coffee and, to me, there’s something so delicious about the smell of the beans as you grind them.
There are a lot of people who drink instant coffee, and if you drank much “office coffee” you’d know why.
I make the coffee in the office that I’m working right now. They won’t allow anyone else to do it.
Most of the coffee in offices is made by someone who doesn’t drink coffee and the system is leased from a service. It is generally weak and bitter.
This must be some sort of counter terrorism…
It’s nice to see that appreciation for terrible puns is returning, Steve.
Office coffee is usually Ellis coffee, and it is the grossest stuff…..I used to have to buy coffee for a couple of law firms I worked for. Finally convinced them that I would buy the coffee myself and bring it the hell in, rather than pay for that sludge.
On another note, Ellis may be why there is a Starbucks on every corner…
There’s always some local company that packages a “deal” for office coffee, and the coffee is universally bad, the grounds weren’t even good fertilizer.
