"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

What a handsome one he is. He knows it, too.

Now there’s a cat that knows what it wants out of life!

All Spot wants is food and a flea-free spot to digest it. While he prefers having it brought to him, he has been know to travel almost 100 feet for a meal, if it was really good food.
Spot is definitely no threat to birds or rodents.
Be sure to post another pic of Spot in a year or two. That should give you time to find the wide-angle lens you may need to accommodate Spot’s spread in the meantime. (He’s a lovely cat nonetheless.)

He’s very friendly, if you have anything to eat, but he’s giving feral cats a bad name by being such a scrounge and so lacking in ambition.
What a handsome young man Spot is!
And there’s nothing wrong with lacking ambition. Plenty of folks — and critters — are perfectly satisfied with their current station in life, and have no ambition other than to be themselves.

He is a handsome fellow, I just hope he doesn’t get it into his head to try for the alpha tom spot. There’s a pretty rough crowd up near the top.
Oh, Bryan, he’s just beautiful!!!
He’s a slacker.
I somehow don’t see Spot ever trying for alpha male. That would be too much work :).
Wow! That is one beautiful kitty. His coat is so unusual. He looks like he’s a very mellow kitty.

With teenagers, Badtux, it’s always the hormones that do them in. The hormones start rising and there are frequent attacks of stupid.
He his, OWL. I need to check to see if he has a bong somewhere.
