Position: 18.9 N 113.2 W [10 PM CDT 0300 UTC].
Movement: North-Northwest [330°] near 7 mph.
Maximum sustained winds: 90 mph [150 kph].
Wind Gusts: 115 mph.
Tropical Storm Wind Radius: 140 miles [220 km].
Hurricane Wind Radius: 35 miles [55 km].
Minimum central pressure: 973 mb ↑.
It is 350 miles [560 km] Southwest of the tip of Baja California.
At 8 PM PDT…0300 UTC…the government of Mexico has issued a Hurricane Watch for the West Coast of Baja California from Puerto San Andresito southward and for the East Coast of Baja California from lareto southward including Cabo San Lucas. A Hurricane Watch means that hurricane conditions are possible within the watch area…generally within 36 hours.
This is an Eastern Pacific Storm, but Baja is my old stamping ground.

That’s actually a real $500 featuring William McKinley. People have rarely seen it, or the:

$100,000 bill featuring a portrait of Woodrow Wilson
Before electronic funds transfers they were used to move money between banks.
I saw the $10,000 in Las Vegas, there were a number of them on display at a casino and they were gold certificates unlike the $500 which was a Federal Reserve note [IOU] like today’s money.
They are worth more to collectors than their face value, and I distorted the bill I used, as they were bigger and not in the same proportion as what we carry around today.
Wow…just hand them over. Now. 😉
Large denomination bills will be back although they’ll be backed by the derivatives that Paulson is buying up. We’ll need them for the inflation that is coming.
