Groundhog Day festivities were canceled at Brookfield Zoo due to the lovely weather we are having here in the midwest. I guess that means the little critter got to stay in his burrow and didn’t see his shadow.
It’s snowing and they’re hibernating. There is no way they are coming out to give a weather report, that’s what fools like Jim Cantore are for – to stand on the shore during hurricane and to stand on the Chicago lakefront during blizzards. Groundhogs have more sense.
