Tropical Storm Lee – Day 3

Tropical Storm LeePosition: 29.4N 92.6W [10PM CDT 0300 UTC].
Movement: North-Northwest [335°] near 2 mph [ 4 kph].
Maximum sustained winds: 50 mph [ 85 kph].
Wind Gusts: 70 mph [110 kph].
Tropical Storm Wind Radius: 260 miles [415 km].
Minimum central pressure: 988 mb.

Currently about 85 miles [140 km] West-Southwest of Morgan City, Louisiana.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for the Gulf Coast from Sabine Pass, Texas eastward to Destin, Florida [I just made the cut.]

Lee is creeping North and the pressure is falling. It is dumping rain on Louisiana and Mississippi, while merely pouring rain on Southern Alabama and the western end of the Florida Panhandle.
