Ringo Waits

How long?

[Editor: Ringo has her fur back and the jaw seems to be healing, but there is a stubborn infection. Until the infection is under control the vet doesn’t want to prceed. After the infection is gone there will be x-rays to confirm that the bone has healed and the plastic splint will be removed. Ringo wants out, and she wants kibble.]

Cat Blogging will show up on Friday, but I’m trying to get a picture of Ringo and the lighting is weird. I’m hoping I can get better results during the day tomorrow, because everything I took tonight has a strange color scheme under the lights in the bathroom – very orange.

I’m avoiding using the flash because she would hate it, and it washes out the color even without the ‘laser eye’ effect.

We have had more rain dumped on us by a low pressure area has been dropping South from Alabama, Invest 90L. This is a remnant of Isaac.

After Isaac came ashore it split, with the bigger chunk going to the Northeast, like normal storms do, but this fragment hung around in Alabama.

It is now out over the Gulf and may develop into a tropical depression. Some of the tracking models have it going into the Florida Panhandle, but one is showing Tampa.

Another zombie tropical cyclone that just refuses to die.
