Currently about 925 miles [1490 km] East of Bermuda.

Hurricane Maria – Day 7

Maximum sustained winds: 125 mph [205 kph].
Wind Gusts: 150 mph [240 kph].
Tropical Storm Wind Radius: 185 miles [295 km].
Hurricane Wind Radius: 60 miles [ 95 km].
Minimum central pressure: 954 mb ↑.

Currently about 175 miles [ 285 km] East of San Salvador.

A NOAA P-3 Hurricane Hunter successfully deployed a Coyote UAV to take readings of the hurricane’s eyewall. The small drones are electric powered and can can be programmed to do things that even Hurricane Hunters think are insane.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for the Turks & Caicos Islands, the Southeastern Bahamas, and the Central Bahamas.
