Sort of: fly agaric mushroom (Amanita muscaria). The fact that the US Forest Service was interested enough to create this page is rather weird.
I did some research on the reindeer herding cultures from my time in the Arctic in the US Air Force. It was part of survival training that was based on the techniques of the groups that have lived in the Arctic for millennia. Loremasters/shamen sought wisdom in the visions induced by the mushrooms.
