Friday Cat Blogging

[Editor: Ms Gruntled is not very happy “babysitting” Wonder, a neighbor’s cat. While she doesn’t generally approve of frivolity, annoying Wonder by dragging on his leash has a certain appeal, but only if he wants to move.]

Haha Bryan I hhope Ms Gruntled run the limit of the tether quicker than Wonder can!

Wonder is not exactly “swift” in many ways, and Ms Gruntled has him on both speed and agility – if she doesn’t fall asleep in his range.

Speaking of cat’s babysitting… this I have never seen a cat do!

Auan, a seven-year-old female cat, licks the body of Jeena…

That’s just soooo wrong! The World is weird.

Heh… 😉 Well… I *WAS* thinking of a caption like…

“If these two can get on, why can’t we?”

Then I thought I’d just let the pic speak for itself. 🙂

Actually, the cat reacts to the fear and running away, not to the mouse as a species. As long as there is no fear reaction on the part of the mouse/rat a female cat will treat it like a kitten.

I had a neighbor whose female cocker spaniel treated the feral cats like puppies, and the cats put up with it. Not kittens, but cats, got licked and occasionally moved about by the psycho cocker.

Yawning is her specialty, OWL, after disapproving frivolity by other kitties.
