"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

I’m still reeling from reading the discussion section of the wiki on Glenn Beck linked to in your post upstream, so forgive me if I ask whether Beck will accuse us of saying feral kittens should be supported by the feral guvmint…
Seriously, good pic, and more colorful than is usual for pics of ferals.

Used picnic plates and old tarps help to liven things up. You have to give them escape routes around feeding areas or they won’t approach. I have to turn the plates over so they don’t become mosquito breeding spots. This was only the second time these two hung around when I moved slightly, so I could shift hands and use the camera in failing light.
Oh, yeah, I would want to see proof of a rabies vaccination before I discussed anything with a Beck supporter.
OT: Thanks for the phone instructions, Steve. I grabbed them if you want to delete them from the post.
Ah the tastiness of the tinned stuff overrode their fear for once? The lure of the good grub was too strong?
.-= last blog ..As a holiday bonus here’s some hot pussy action =-.
I’m glad they get hooked, because I use it to get them meds. Some cats never take to it.
OT: you’re supposed to be on vacation. Don’t let the Not Wife catch you.
You’re welcome, Bryan; I hope they work with your Mother’s phone. I’ll leave them up, because someone else may well need them. As techniques go, that one is not as good as downloading over a cable (for which I paid too much, and which apparently can be used only for PC-to-phone transfers, not the other direction). But it certainly beats nothing at all.
I admit I’m astonished at the quality of images from the camera in that phone (a Samsung A767, IIRC). They don’t have the resolution to do the kind of extreme cropping available from a decent point-and-shoot camera (let alone a DSLR), but they’re pretty amazing for a plain old standard-issue cell phone. Times have changed, even since my last cell phone.
BTW, I added a rambling post to the SSG thread. Read it when you’re prepared for a ramble. (Not to be confused with a rumble…)
bless their little hearts

Awwww… cute kitties!! 😀
Steve: I didn’t think you rambled! Though mine may well qualify! 😉 LOL
PJ, Trouble-O 7, is no slouch in the cute department, and is certain to be friendlier than these “terfurists”. They are feral and anyone who tried to pick one up would get a post graduate education in the meaning of the term and a trip to an emergency room.
Steve, if they allowed phone to PC you wouldn’t have to pay AT&T, and that certainly couldn’t be allowed.
I’ll tell them, Kryten, if they don’t try to eat me.
Awww Kittens!!! Aren’t they the sweetest little things? Are you able to pick them up, or do they run away when you come near?

Without a suit of armor, I wouldn’t even consider it, OWL. This is the first time they haven’t scattered as soon as they see me.
