Who Are These People?
I received a robo-call a few days ago to watch out for an “important health care alert”, and the only name I recognized was that of my worthless Congresscritter, Jefferson Beauregard Miller.
It showed up today, and from local sources, Miller doesn’t know anything about it. [That’s quite believable, as my experience is that Miller doesn’t know anything about most things.]
The mailer is from a group calling itself the American Life Sciences Innovation Council, which has a web site that was registered by “Domains by Proxy” in Arizona through GoDaddy in April of this year, for a single year. The address is 2100 M Street NW Suite 170-256 in DC, which is apparently a box at a UPS store, an address used by a motley crew of groups including serial liar James O’Keefe, and the group behind the Park 51 Islamic center in NYC.
The ad is made to appear as if it came from Miller, but it didn’t, and recommends thanking him for “protecting Medicare” when he voted for the Ryan bill that would destroy it.
It looks like a front group for Medicine Inc. who are worried that something might be done about all of the worthless tests and procedures that they do to pad their profit margin.

It’s time to send Miller a copy of it. At least his office people might take a look at it.
They never reply to my letters or e-mail, so they may not be able to read, OWL.
I have since seen comments that this is occurring in other areas with the names of the local Congresscritters, so it isn’t just in my area.
I live in Columbus Ohio, and I got the same thing from these People! They were touting Pat Tiberi (R) 12Th district North Central and East of Columbus. They Proclaimed that Tiberi s Fighting for Seniors! I was at First Very MAD Because Tiberi VOTED for The Ryan Budget to ABOLISH Medicare! This Mailer came to me on Saturday 18Th of June. Congressman Tiberi is a waste of a Congressman! Tiberi has not Held a “Public Town Hall Meeting in YEARS! Tiberi has had a “On Line Town Hall Meeting where he and his HANDLERS can Control the Topic! I also was Invited to a Joint Telephone type “Town hall Meeting! What a WASTE of My 90 Minutes!
It’s on the record that every Republican in the House voted for Ryan’s dismantling of Medicare, which will push money to the insurance industry, so they are probably part of the mix of funders hiding behind this façade of “concern for Seniors.
Those telephone “town hall meetings” are part of Miller’s act, too. Total pain in your ear, and a totally controlled situation. You get cut off if you really ask a serious question, and his office is unresponsive.
I just received Social Security propaganda espousing the protection of Medicare via eradicating the Health Care Bill. It was sent, allegedly, by Steve Stivers, R-15,OH, who I believe would send it. He also voted for the Ryan Bill (a Medicare saving initiative, according to an earlier mailing I received). He is a first-term congressman who marches to the orders of the tea-party agenda.
Oops, I forgot to add that the mailing was paid for by ALSIC.

Yes, ALSIC is hiding behind local Congresscritters not wanting to attract too much attention. Their version of “saving Medicare” involves protecting their members from anything that would reduce their profits.
ALSIC apparently can’t figure out that the Congresscritters want to “throw the baby out with the bathwater” and destroy Medicare.
