Maximum sustained winds: 75 mph [120 kph].
Wind Gusts: 90 mph [135 kph].
Tropical Storm Wind Radius: 140 miles [220 km].
Hurricane Wind Radius: 15 miles [ 30 km].
Minimum central pressure: 984 mb ↓.

Currently about 40 miles [ 65 km] East of Belize City.

A Hurricane Warning is in effect for Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico, southward to the Belize/Guatemala border.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for North of Puerto Costa Maya to Punta Allen, Mexico.

Belize is a living memory for very few people here; Stella is one of them. Fortunately no hurricanes struck while she was there on some sort of anthropological project about a decade ago.

While the wind speed got up to 80mph, it moved through fairly quickly. Belize and the Yucatan have been the target of choice for tropical events lately.
