"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

Read somewhere that Cheney made sure his Bush era crimes.. I mean… actions could not be traceable nor provable, that he had learned the Watergate lesson well….
Thanks. Dick.
.-= last blog ..No wonder Republicans hate science. =-.
The crimes are both traceable and provable if there were a real investigation, but that’s one of the biggest failures from Watergate – the Democrats refuse to investigate.
That’s why I gave up on them and am hoping for a real progressive party to form.
What do you mean no body learned any lessons? Seems to me that Republicans learned it well. It’s why they keep behaving so poorly when in power, they figure someone will pardon them.

And everyone keeps letting them get away with it, so they get negative reinforcement, i.e. bad habits are rewarded. Of course, Repubs aren’t really trainable, so they don’t count.
OT: looking good on the bike, keep it up.
The Rethuglicans have learned to go BIGGER and BADDER and FASTER with their crimes against America.

Only because the Dems refuse to do anything about it. Laws are meaningless if they aren’t enforced.
