Important Reminder
Quiddity has an important Mother’s Day reminder at Uggabugga.
"It's better to be six feet apart right now than six feet under."
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer
"Blognito ergo sum!"
"Caedite eos! Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius."
"Das war ein Vorspiel nur, dort wo man Bücher verbrennt, verbrennt man auch am Ende Menschen."
"Все счастливые семьи похожи друг на друга, каждая несчастливая семья несчастлива по-своему."
"Кто что ни говори, а подобные происшествия бывают на свете, - редко, но бывают."
"A person who has a cat by the tail knows a whole lot more about cats than someone who has just read about them."
Mark Twain
"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."
"The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it."

Best wishes to your Mother, Bryan. My mother and Stella’s mother both passed away years ago, but we remember them fondly today.
(Now, to paraphrase Quiddity, using this comment, the NSA can calibrate its WordPress comment monitoring system…)
Yep…Or as Bill Maher Put it…“the NSA’s busiest Day of the Year! *snark*
Happy Mother’s day to your MOM.
Like Steve, both our mom’s have been gone for many years. So give yours a BIG hug and Kisses for Her special day.
😀
I thank y’all, but I think she’s more concerned with the pending birth of her second great grandchild than anything else at the moment.
I left my wishes at your place, Karen, but again, Happy Mothers’ Day.
she’s more concerned with the pending birth of her second great grandchild
I am sure she will take a moment to give you a hug for being a good son.
I am also sure there is a ‘Children’s Day’ somewhere, but there should be a day set aside to honor those who care for elderly parents. It’s every bit as demanding as being a parent; sometimes more so.
This is the payback for being so miserable as small children, Andante.
