"A person who has a cat by the tail knows a whole lot more about cats than someone who has just read about them."
Mark Twain
"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

KT-2… and you… were very lucky to get that thunderstorm! Tabitha, on the other hand, decided to head for the surface of the Sun.
That is a nice ladylike pose. Now, my sweetest girl likes to lay on her back, all spraddled out. It’s a pose Saddie was good at. I guess most cats don’t lay on their backs? KT-2 is quite the pretty kitty.

Jams, you or I would end up in a back-brace if we attempted the contortions that cats find comfortable.
She’s more Blanche Dubois, Jill.
Well, the cats had to endure about three hours of thunder before a storm decided to pass over and drop some rain and the temperature, Steve.
My indoor cats spread on their backs, OWL, because the air conditioning is cooler than the carpet, but the clay in the driveway under the trees stays cooler than the air.
That’s quite the stare she can lay down.

Not one of the KT line are in any way friendly. They attain weening age in a neighbor’s carport, and then move to my Mother’s yard to begin on solid food. They are all pretty cats, but they do not want anyone to get close.
All of my photos of them are done with optical zoom, because I can’t get close enough to get a picture otherwise.
