Yellow Something Something Can’t Update

Steve Bates can’t post to his site and I’m not sure of FCB because of problems at our mutual host. The sites are visible and I can update mine through WordPress, but we are blocked from using FTP to enable the host to rebuild a problem server.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon, but comments are working at Steve’s place, so you can harass him.

Thanks, Bryan. For once, I really do appreciate being “harassed.” Friday Cat Blogging will take place sometime Friday once our host re-enables FTP. Two additional posts are in the queue awaiting that same event. Again, thanks for notifying folks. I’m glad you’re still up and running despite having the same host.

I don’t have to upload for posts, they are generated online. I can’t add pictures until FTP is back, so I’m faking it.

I’m baaaack…

FTP works, for some files at least (see the offsite status site). SFTP, which I usually use, doesn’t; I presume he’ll activate the alternative protocols when he’s through with everything else. (After the Last Great Outage, I had to remind him… and I can’t blame him; there’s so much to remember in doing a job like that.)

At long last, I finally managed to put up a pic of Samantha doing her best Lance Armstrong imitation…

And for you, Bryan, comment posting seems a bit flaky…

They are going through a conversion process and my site hasn’t been converted yet. I checked with FTP and most files are read only, so I’ll wait to do several things I have on hold.
