Tabitha
There is sad, if not unexpected, news for Stella and Steve.
"It's better to be six feet apart right now than six feet under."
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer
"Blognito ergo sum!"
"Caedite eos! Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius."
"Das war ein Vorspiel nur, dort wo man Bücher verbrennt, verbrennt man auch am Ende Menschen."
"Все счастливые семьи похожи друг на друга, каждая несчастливая семья несчастлива по-своему."
"Кто что ни говори, а подобные происшествия бывают на свете, - редко, но бывают."
"A person who has a cat by the tail knows a whole lot more about cats than someone who has just read about them."
Mark Twain
"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."
"The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it."

Thanks, Bryan. Stella especially needs good wishes at the moment; she’s feeling more than a bit lost without her longtime feline companion. And I’m pretty sad about it myself, though I can see Tabitha had a long and full life compared to just about all the kitties in the world.
OT, take a look at T.S. Henri. It seems to have come up “out of nowhere,” awfully late, and you and I would do well to keep an eye on it (no pun intended).
.-= last blog ..Grieving =-.
It is hard to adjust to the absence, Steve. I still wake up in the middle of the night wondering why Koshka isn’t there, where she always was. It takes time, a lot of it.
OT: I just put Henri up. This morning the NHC didn’t think much of 91L’s chances of becoming a storm because of wind shear in the area keeping the upper level component from aligning with the lower circulation. Dr. Masters thought the chances were better, and was right. It may be down-graded, and then come back a couple of times.
My real concern in something just popping up in the Gulf. That happens a lot this time of the year.
Many good thoughts to Stella and Steve on their loss. I wish you peace.
