A Public Service Announcement
If you are a US resident, as you recover from whatever you got up to on Halloween, don’t forget that the clocks are “falling back” at 2AM on November 1st. You get an extra hour of sleep.
[Offer not applicable in Hawaii or Arizona, because they refuse to play, and don’t bring up Indiana, because they are on their own and need to decide what they are going to do. YMMV]
Also, it is time to put a new battery in your smoke detector.
If you can’t figure out how to reset the clock in your car, disconnect and reconnect the battery ground at noon, if am and pm make a difference to you, you’ll have to do it at midnight.

They don’t make it obvious how to set the clock in the newer cars. One year I just left the time where it was and it fixed itself in March. 😆
I prefer we stop changing the time and just leave it at daylight savings. Dark at 4:45pm is way too gloomy. Dark in the morning, I don’t even notice it. But no one asks me.
.-= last blog ..White-crowned Sparrow =-.
In the Honda the key has to be in correct position and you have to use buttons for the radio that actually say something else. Since it is a radio, I don’t know why they don’t just set from the government radio signal.
I do have to reset the blog by hand, which is a pain.
