Karen of Peripetia reports on their attempts to develop a an airborne force. I think they should have developed parachutes first.

I finally got around to watching that one. What a hoot!

Always said that, like cats, squirrels are light and easy to throw. Long falls don’t seem to injure them, and this particular squirrel looks as though he’s enjoying the ride. Why else would he keep coming back? Squirrels are known for their cleverness at defeating devices meant to keep them out of things, so I can’t imagine a squirrel being dumb enough to fall for the same trick more than 2 or 3 times.

BTW, I noticed that the colander in use is not stainless steel. A good use for the plastic ones, I guess.

While not a flying squirrel, in one view he seems to spread himself out to take advantage of the same principle. It was pretty stupid.

Squirrels are terrorists I tell you! That said, there’s something a little sad about watching the body doing turns in the air before it connects to the branches. Sad and a bit hilarious….
