There’s a John McCain banner ad on Lisa’s front page at All Hat and No Cattle which tends to indicate that someone doesn’t read blogs before they buy ad space. Lisa can use the money, but I hope they don’t think she’ll lower the snark.

IIRC, Google Ads use some sort of rotator that may or may not be sensitive to the content of the site. The same thing happens on Talking Points Memo from time to time. I suppose purchasers of ads presume that a popular political blog’s hits may reasonably be assumed to be distributed among supporters and opponents of the site’s content, so if enough people are drawn to visit a predominantly Democratic site, some of them will nonetheless be interested in a McCain ad.
Somehow, though, I don’t think that’s a valid assumption in Lisa’s case. 🙂
The few wingers that show up at Lisa’s want Bug Man to run based on their e-mails. I understand about the rotation, but there really should be better targeting.
