Hypothetical Questions

Scorpio is rightfully annoyed with Senator Clinton. When asked about a hypothetical nuclear attack on Israel by Iran, the response was the US would nuke Iran, causing Scorpio to react with She What?

I would have asked the questioner what Israel had done that caused Iran to magically create an nuclear weapon it doesn’t have and attack another nation, something it hasn’t done since BEFORE GEORGE WASHINGTON WAS BORN!

The only plausible reason for the Iranian attack would be an unprovoked, “preemptive” strike by Israel, something Israel does with annoying frequency. Oh, did I mention that Israel is known to possess nuclear weapons, unlike Iran which is known not to posses such weapons.

Does anyone remember the last time the US arrested an Iranian spy? We arrested another Israeli spy today?

Jimmy Carter shouldn’t talk to Hamas because they want Israel to return to the 1967 borders, just like Security Council Resolution 242, and give up the occupied lands. They don’t like being occupied and starved by an Israeli blockade [an act of war under international law] and respond with violence.

Hamas is not a nice organization, and they kill Israeli civilians, they just aren’t as effective at killing civilians as the Israeli armed forces.

Both sides murder innocent people. The Israelis share the blame for the violence. They have stolen land and water from Palestinians. They are preventing the people of Gaza from getting food. The Israelis always act in their best interests, like any government should. Maybe the US should try acting in its own best interests for a change, instead of mindlessly supporting every Israeli action.
