Ah… the belly of the “beast”! What a wonderful picture, Bryan!
I wonder if Ringo will change her habits as she ages. In a completely secure circumstance, Tabitha and (especially) Samantha don’t bother protecting their undersides at all, and they’re both quite old.
Dot rolls on her back, but she closes up when she sleeps, and Ringo didn’t even react when the flash went off, she was really, solidly asleep. Every one is an individual.
Korats mature slowly, not being considered fully mature until they are two.
Friday Ark #86…
We’ll post links to sites that have Friday (plus or minus a few days) photos of their chosen animals (photoshops at our discretion and humans only in supporting roles). Watch the Exception category for rocks, beer, coffee cups, and….?…
Both my (neutered) toms will nap on their backs in the middle of the living room floor with legs splayed to the four corners of the earth.
I think it’s their way of saying “Bring It On!” to the Chihuahuas.
(and thanks for the comments ‘preview’ function!)
*skritches belly*
See, Andante, I do requests.
Yes, even in the yard, the toms will spend time on their backs, but the ladies usually have more decorum.
Not advised, LK. Take my word for it, very bad idea with Ringo.
It’s a Slinky with fur.
I thought it looked like a horizontal version of a background dancer on a music video.
What a scene of perfect relaxation. I love your cat’s color.
Thank you. The “blue” of the korats is a big draw to the breed.
Such a silky looking coat.
Oh, it is. They are a single coat breed and it feels quite similar to velvet.
