The Media Becomes The Story
Between killing two people in the dorm and 30 in the class building, Cho Seung-Hui dropped by the Post Office and sent a package to NBC News with his disjointed thoughts on paper and DVDs.
He identified himself as “Ishmael” on the package and had “Ismael Ax” on his arm when found.
My wild guess from what little I read is that he may have meant “Ismael Ach”, of the tribe of Ismael, referring to not to Arabs, but to the novel, Ishmael by Daniel Quinn which deals with how messed up the world is.
Unfortunately he didn’t learn that you have to get elected before you get to change the world by killing a lot of innocent people.

Ooof! That last line was too true!
He was crazy and needed to be in a facility, but he wasn’t “crazy enough” to be forced. Apparently his parents had him committed once, but he was released with medication. No indication that he was taking it.
I put up my concerns about the complicity of the MSM on glorifying this Killer by playing those videos! 🙂
Bringing on a mental health professional to say that Cho had lost it and the information was extremely disturbing would have been enough. A picture of him in his “warrior’s garb” would have sufficed. In a year the whole thing could have been made into a documentary exclusive for NBC.
In a year, with study, there might even be some reasonable conclusions.
