It’s Over
Not the campaign, but the Passing The Plate feature. After two years I have displayed all of Florida’s specialty plates. If they managed to pass more in this year’s two months of madness, also known as the legislative session, I will probably post them.
Understand that Florida also has special plates for other functions, like government plates, fleet plates, and plates for some groups of veterans that are free, but you have to qualify beyond having the money to pay for the plate.
If anyone is disappointed that this feature is over, all I can say is – get a life, seriously. It was a Sunday post. Something new if anybody stopped by, as well as a look into the strange world of Florida government.

But… but… *snif*
Sorry, Elayne, put it was either that or dealing with plate from Alabama.
Well… I won’t miss it. 😉 Sorry…
However… if you were to do something like… oh… strange or unusual plates from around the World, I might be interested. Unless you have a life that is! 😉 😀
M8! I dunno how you find the time for everything! Seriously. Amazing.
Cheers!
In most of the world license plates are just a rectangle with numbers. In Europe they needed the separate ovals to identify the country.
For true excess, it’s hard to beat the American South.
As for time, I spend too much waiting for things to compile or finish processing, while I waiting for clients to call/e-mail responses, so the the breaks are between jobs while I’m tied to the computer from 8AM EDT until 5PM PDT to cover my client base.
