On The Move
While The Invisible Library isn’t going anywhere, Keith, Elvira, Lucy, and Rupert are bound across the country from Georgia to to Oregon. For some reason Keith is unhappy living in the Deep South.
It’s not a bad drive, I did Monterey, California to Washington DC a couple of times, but it will depend on the flooding.
Safe driving!

Been there, done that. Salem is a Goldilocks town. Not too big, not too small. Just right. No more than an hour from everything topological that matters: mountains, ocean, dramatic waterfalls, picturesque rolling hills, dessert, coastal rain forest.
It certainly will be different from a drought-plagued Georgia.
Thanks!
We’re checking our route now, trying to see if we can avoid the flooding. Otherwise, we’ll need pontoons for the truck.
We’re in Savannah, which is the only place in GA not under drought conditions but only because it’s a swamp.
In Florida we have wildfires in the lakes, swamps, and wetlands in around Orlando because of the drought.
I remember the descriptions of “Uncle Billy” Sherman’s moves around Savannah and the problems the soggy ground presented.
Yeah, finding a bridge open over the Mississippi could get interesting.
