"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

It’s that “oh bloody hell he’s got his camera with him but no cat food” look. They are such beautiful kittens
Friday Ark #140…
We’ll post links to sites that have Friday (plus or minus a few days) photos of their chosen animals (photoshops at our discretion and humans only in supporting roles). Watch the Exception category for rocks, beer, coffee cups, and….? Visit all the …
Look at all these CUTIE little deductions…reduced to snuggling on a small bed…and can’t all fit as easily eh! Happy FFF, Bryan! *smile*
Jams, they need to start thinking cat food, but their mom is a little too new and hasn’t started the weaning process. The little gremlins have teeth, so I don’t think meals can be much fun.
Karen, the boys use the bed, but Excise prefers to rough it.
What handsome young things they are. I’ll bet they keep you busy.
Only in furious spurts, which upsets their mother. It’s thirty minutes of being everywhere and getting into everything, then back to curling up and sleeping for a couple of hours.
What a glorious curly stretch is going on with the black fuzz! I’m afraid I’d not be able to put them down….
Ah… a bed lining that actually contrasts with the colors of the kittens! Maybe you could explain the virtues to Stella, who depends on me for the photographic record of her girls.
I’m glad to read that you finally prevailed in the matter of location.
Income is the most reluctant model, Ellroon, and neither they or their mom is comfortable about them being handled. Ringo wanders around when they are active doing the korat “mutter” – a semi-meow with trilling normally referred to as “chirping”.
Well, Excise sort of blends with the faux sheepskin, but my Mother repair the bed with a piece of green plush, so even the gray Income can be seen. I’ve tried to lure Excise into the “green zone” but he refuses.
I’ve spent many a dollar on nice kitty and doggy beds and they’re never used. Nice to see yours is serving it’s purpose.
Ah well –Excise prefers to rough it– a Free Spirit jest like ME and me. *wink*
Actually, Andante, I rescued that one from the trash and washed the cover. My Mother did the repairs, and the kittens don’t know enough to show contempt. The adults all tried it once and have ignored it since.
Karen, Excise instigates most of the noise chasing everyone within reach, until Property gets annoyed and fights back. As a female she’s the one who will have the fights for status in cat society. Actually she is already spoken for to live is a retired man who has CC brother. The tom doesn’t hang around much, so Property is destined to become a lap cat.
Maybe you should sent one of your FFF finds to the White House. Apparently the Shrubbery needs a clean-up kit for the Rose Garden.
oh gosh, they’re adorable! i’ll take one of each color! oh, wait. i already have one of each color. congratulations on the successful move.
if i sit here at the computer, with the porch door open, and make little chirping and squeaking noises, i can lure my entire brood, including mom cat, into the house. if i sit very still, they’ll come up to me, staying just out of reach. one of the blue kittens got up enough nerve this morning to actually come up and sniff at my bare toes. kitten whiskers tickle and it was all i could do to not laugh or jerk my foot out of reach.
I accidentally delete a file and had to go looking for names and passwords, so it was gone longer than necessary.
They are fun, but disruptive. Good luck on the taming.
