Well, things went better than expected as I am apparently back up, but it was annoying for a while.
If you stopped by and saw all of those weird messages, they shouldn’t bother you for a while, as I don’t want to go through this again any time soon.

Looks good… I see everything but the banner with your South Park avatar. I missed all the funky messages; I must have picked a good time to take a nap.

The messages were about a half hour around midnight last night when I uploaded everything. I copied over the config file with the one I use for local testing. I had to look up all of the mySQL account names and passwords.
I can’t say I like any better than the old version, but then I don’t mess with it a lot and a lot of the new stuff deals with “widgets” and plug-ins.
Perhaps my eyes deceive me, but your post body text seems to be rendered in an even clearer font than before (not that the old one was bad), something akin to the font I admire so much in Washington Post articles. Mind you, the font is about the only thing I admire in Washington Post articles these days…
FYI: Firefox 2.0.0.3 on Windows XP Pro SP2. I haven’t turned the Linux box on all day; I’ll let you know how it looks over there sometime tomorrow.
Steve, there is something weird going on with the style sheet, because it supposedly didn’t change, but things are not the same. I’ll have to drill down to see what I can find.
