The Hedgemony in action: Security heightened at US airports
WASHINGTON (CNN) — The United States is boosting security at airports across the country in light of the terrorism scares in Britain in the past two days, officials said.
The heightened security is a precautionary measure, officials said. No indication of any threat has been received.
This is the equivalent of the California Highway Patrol declaring a Sig Alert on the I-405 because of an accident on the Major Deegan. What are they going to do, ban vehicles containing gasoline from airports? I’m pretty sure you can’t carry gas cans or propane cylinders onto aircraft under the current rules, well you certainly can’t carry more than three ounces on board.
Whig at Cannablog sent me over to read Larry Johnson’s post, Glasgow’s Burning–Run For Your Lives, which points out how incompetent these guys were.
They couldn’t get any explosives. They improvised with gasoline [petrol] and propane gas cylinders which make for a spectacular fire ball, but aren’t very destructive if you’re not in a bone dry area like California or an enclosed space, like a mobile home. “I was there when those guys burned down the canopy in front of the Glasgow airport terminal” is not exactly a great “war story.”
Let’s get a grip and react to real threats that actually kill people, like the floods in Texas or the fires in California.

no one outside our little country believes that, only some of us do.
This is doing the work of the terrorist for them. This is exactly what they want, people panicking and governments over-reacting.
