Okay, I gotta say that that is one unimaginative plate. It doesn’t even have the city, and the only way you know it’s a basketball team is the slug on the bottom, which most of the time is covered by a frame.
Back to the drawing board, folks.
Which is not to say that many of the other plates for the pro teams are all that good-looking, either.
If I were Orlando I wouldn’t be building any taxpayer subsidized arenas for these guys as they seem to be purposefully free of local attachments. I don’t know if Disney owns the team, but that has to be the reference, to the “Magic Kingdom.” They need to talk to the White House about copyright infringement for Fantasyland.
When I saw “Magic SAMPL” I immediately thought, “whoa! Drugs!”.
Sounds like whoever designed that plate was smoking some, eh?
