"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. any one of those could make the grinch love christmas faster than you can say little cindy lou who. viewed together, they’re irresistibly happy-making.
i think the 4 calling birds might be my favorite so far, but i could be biased toward cute fluffy little black creatures. then again, i really like the unexpected twist on the 5 golden rings, so this one’s running a very close second.
My Mother loves the “2 doves & turtles.” Great graphics and haikus – what’s not to like? Thanks for the trail to her site, as I found her on the meme trail I tagged you with.
you’re welcome.
that one has my favorite 17 syllables so far, and like the gold rings, it’s also got an unexpected take on the object. i do like stuff that doesn’t go in straight lines.
It’s a nice combination, I wish I was better at the graphics process. These deserve to be on cards for people like us to buy.
