There’s No Pleasing Some People
Jack at Grumpy Forester has a post looking at Dem VP possibilities and labels it: Things That Can Drive The Netroots Crazy.
I don’t know, it’s all part of balancing the ticket that he would be looking a people to his left, but Sam Nunn would provide more geographic diversity than Evan Bayh.

…thanks for the link, Bryan…
“…that he would be looking at people to his left…
[Good one]
I have never forgiven Clinton for the Iraq War Resolution and Kyl/LIEberman “let’s bomb Iran” amendment; Biden for the Bankruptcy Bill; so, there is no way I giving Obama a break after FISA.
Sam Nunn may be geographically more diverse, but he’s still a fucking Neanderthal who belongs nowhere near a Democratic Party presidential ticket.
No doubt they want to bask in his national security gravitas. I didn’t like or trust him. He was too militant in the worst sense of the word for my taste. He promoted a lot of crap for no other reason than it was made in Georgia.
You owe Neanderthals an apology, Michael. There’s no evidence of them being war mongers.
Or homophobes, for that matter. Then again, there’s not much evidence of anything when it comes to Neanderthals.
If Obama yielded to Bayh as presidential candidate, and Bayh then picked one of his close relatives as a running mate, it would be Bayh-Bayh for the Democrats…
Georgia was behind the curve on the switch to the Republican Party. Nunn should joined Helms and Thurmond. He should have hauled Zell Miller along.
That was terrible, Steve.
Bryan, at least I didn’t do anything with “Nunn” …
It would have probably been blue if you had.
