Tropical Storm Fay – Day 3

Tropical Storm FayPosition: 21.4 N 80.6 W. [10 PM CDT]
Movement: Northwest [305°] near 10 mph.
Maximum sustained winds: 50 mph.
Wind Gusts: 65 mph.
Tropical Storm Wind Radius: 105 miles.
Minimum central pressure: 1001 mb.

It is currently 235 miles South-Southeast of Key West, Florida and 170 miles Southeast of Havana, Cuba.

The pressure is dropping, the movement is irratic, and it is slowing.  It may be getting ready to turn.  Dr. Masters has been calling this storm “The Joker” because it doesn’t do what you think it is going to do.  The models keep whipping back and forth across the Gulf.

At 10PM it looks like it’s turning.
