Yeah, I saw that. The Soviets went overboard on some of their earlier stuff and had elaborate interiors before it became less about propaganda and more about science.

She was the back-up passenger for the trip, and the primary had a problem a month before take-off. If that hadn’t happened she would have had to go back on the list for the next flight after having spent months in training. She was definitely a happy camper.
