Responding to a thread over at Fallenmonk I realized there was a reasonable compromise that would be supported by Congress, and would enable the passage of a “clean” funding bill for the escalation in Iraq.
If the Shrubbery and Darth Cheney resign, I see no reason not to provide the funds to the Defense Department.

Love it! Just make sure the bill states that all resignations are effective immediately. The Boy King seems to have an issue with timetables.
I’m just trying to be a reasonable “centerist” and give everyone something they want.
I could probably support that since it would Nancy Pelosi in the Presidency. Reasonable.
A successful compromise requires that everyone gets something they want. I think it’s a two-fer for the troops.
