I am sure you are prepared but keep a watchful eye. We’ll monitor from here and wish we had some of the rain.
I’ll do a final walk around this afternoon, but it looks like it if finally weakening. The leading edge of the rain is already in Panama City, so I’ll pick up some extra cat food and add more water in jugs, but the big stuff has already been done.
The warning/watch line is Destin which is a little East and on the Gulf, but this looks like it’s going to be a rain event, and I really wish we could shift the rain somewhere else, because it has been almost constant for the last month. There are flood watches out, and they will impact the North County, but not us. The only thing that floods down here are the roads.
we’re all stocked up on library books and lantern batteries here.
It is out over Apalachicola Bay, and will come ashore for the fourth time, cross the “bump”, and then, possibly pass to the South of us in the Gulf. It could end up in Louisiana before this is over.
