You need a bigger lap.
[Editor: Sox is a very welcome addition as the weather has again turned cold down here. It would be nice if he were smaller or lighter, but he is definitely warm.]

Haha he certainly fits a lap well. It’s just as well that there are emnities in the O’Donnell household. Thus we only get Robyn and Bebe together on the lap. The idea of four cats is just too much!

Sox looks like he’s about the size of The Mighty Fang, who similarly has problems fitting on my lap. TMF now has a solution to avoid falling off my lap though — he grabs my hand with his paw and forces me to cuddle him against my belly with one hand. Thus leaving me to type one-handed. And if I try to type two-handed again, that is when the claws come out to more assertively guide my hand back to where it belongs ;). Cats. Heh.

OT: Looks like Charlie Crist is about to stand up for Orange-Americans everywhere and run as an Independent. Hmm. I guess the Republican Party just doesn’t have a place for people of color anymore, even those whose color does not occur in the natural world ;).

Jams – Ringo, Dot, Income, and Excise all enjoy laying on my wrist pad, and Property will jump on the back of the office chair and rest against the back of my neck, but Sox is the only one who will consistently use my lap.
Badtux – I think TMF is a bit bigger than Sox, based on their ability to cover laptops, i.e. mine is not quite as big as yours, and Sox doesn’t cover it quite as completely as TMF, but he is a very effective warming device.
Moi, see above – loneliness is the least of my problems when it comes to cats.
OT: Badtux – Charlie has until April 30 to file as an independent, and Rubio has just stepped into the brown yogurt over a credit card. Charlie may have giving up trying to go to the right of Rubio, and decided to tough it out. Of course, this is a Florida election, so many illogical things are possible.
Aw, a lap warmer is always nice when it’s cooler outside. During the summer, unless there’s lots of ac, it’s not so nice. Sox is obviously worth his weight in cat food.
